And just <strong>X-ray<\/strong> <strong>Examination<\/strong> is a tool that can save you tens or hundreds of euros by detecting problems before they become serious. The cost of such an examination is <strong>20<\/strong> <strong>eur<\/strong>, but its benefits can be huge: from preventing cavities to saving your teeth from costly procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">X-rays allow us to see what is not visible at first glance.<strong> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/majdent.sk\/en\/tooth-decay-why-it-is-not-worth-waiting-for-it-to-affect-the-dental-canals\/\"><strong>Cavities hidden between the teeth <\/strong>or<strong> under<\/strong> <strong>seals<\/strong> can cause significant damage that would otherwise be invisible until it begins to cause pain.<\/a> Many patients who come to us do not feel clear pain. Sometimes, however, there may be a serious problem behind the tenderness. X-ray<strong> <\/strong>examination is therefore crucial for <strong>early diagnosis<\/strong> problems that can turn into expensive and painful interventions in later stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RVG images are an invaluable tool in the diagnosis of dental caries. Using them it is possible to<strong> observe the blemishes<\/strong> already in their early stages, even before they hit <strong>dentin<\/strong>, which is the second, softer layer of the tooth, located below the <strong>Enamel<\/strong>. In the early stages, only <strong>Enamel<\/strong>. Causes caught at this stage can often <strong>stabilize<\/strong> without the need for intervention, drilling. When using <strong>X-ray<\/strong> we can identify these small defects in the enamel that have not yet spread deeper. If the decay only affects the enamel, our experts will usually decide <strong>to follow its development<\/strong> and do not intervene immediately by drilling unless there is a risk of further spread. In many cases, the caries may stop progressing, <a href=\"https:\/\/majdent.sk\/en\/10-tipov-na-zlepsenie-ustnej-hygieny\/\">if the patient maintains good oral hygiene<\/a>such as regular interdental cleaning and the use of fluoride toothpastes or toothpastes containing <strong>hydroxyapatite<\/strong>which help remineralise enamel and prevent further decay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dental treatments such as <strong>crowns<\/strong>, <strong>endodontic procedures <\/strong>(root canal treatment) or even <a href=\"https:\/\/majdent.sk\/en\/everything-you-need-to-know-about-wisdom-teeth-extraction\/\"><strong>tooth extraction<\/strong><\/a>, can cost hundreds or thousands of euros if the dental problem is not detected in time. It is X-rays that can help you avoid these costly procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Answer to the question <em>\"How often do you need to take x-rays?\"<\/em> depends on your individual needs and the condition of your teeth.
